College Gridiron Showcase Announces Third Annual Event
Event provides unique exposure and opportunity for draft-eligible players across all levels of college football.
BEDFORD, TX (October 24, 2017) – The College Gridiron Showcase (CGS) announced today that it will hold its third annual event in Bedford, Texas from January 7-11, 2017.
CGS is a college post-season showcase for NFL Draft-eligible players across all college football divisions. CGS selects via a panel of football experts. Players come in for 5 days and 4 nights to be evaluated by professional football league scouts. The players receive professional coaching, mentoring, and seminars that will benefit them as they move forward in their professional lives in or out of football.
Said CGS Co-Founder & Director of Operations Craig Redd, “Because of our format – a showcase with a controlled scrimmage rather than a game reliant on playing time and play calling – no other premiere college football all-star event gives participants as many quality opportunities to display their talent.”
He added, “This kind of rare opportunity is what players, scouts, and coaches are seeking. Our competitive advantage becomes their competitive success.”
The results speak for themselves.
Since its inception in 2015, the College Gridiron Showcase has produced a track record of success in providing players from all levels not only visibility to scouts and executives, but real opportunity to further their careers. In its first two seasons, the CGS has produced 13 NFL Draft Picks, 106 signed undrafted free agents and 51 rookie camp invitees.
